Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 – 2.1-channel PC multimedia speaker system – black

Loved Them Until I Threw Them Away – Joel K. Williams – San Diego, CA USA
The Klipsch has the best names in audio speakers represented for me since the early 1970s. It is no exaggeration to say that I was excited to order these for my PC.

Firstly, the sub-woofer heavy, as in you can not lean over the back te workstation to pick him up. The satellites are built as sturdy and well as a small speaker I've ever seen. The cables connecting the system were a little different than most PC 2.1 systems I've owned. Each speaker connects to the back of theSub-Woofer by bare wires cut into the spring-loaded terminals. A DIN connector (if the standard in any audio coming from Europe.) Connects a control pod on one of the satellites and the sound from the PC in the sub-woofer. I have complaints about the connecting wires that came with it but I'm thinking a smart person and would be capable of any problems that arose with wires fixed to read.

The sound of this system is incredible. I did not have its own high-end sound card, only aOn-board chipset, and I was amazed. I have not heard the good audio from any computer anywhere, anytime. The highs are clean and clear without being strict with volume, and the bottoms are soft and well mixed than I had expected. Thus began a love affair that I could not imagine ever ends.

Until about six months into our relationship, if it were cut out one or two speakers or the entire system. Simple enough. I want to achieve, to, trace the cable and * WHAM *, a huge pop,If I wiggled the DIN plug on the sub-woofer and then back to the sweet music. Okay. Lesson learned. Move the cable! This was my mantra.

But it's not quite so simple. These advances made to it do not wobble enough to resolve the problem. I do not know if it the plug or the cable, but it got to the point where the sound was from the Promedia less than one quarter of the time.

Finally, I turned it off. (No mean feat, thatworked for me behind my work and felt for the power switch at the lowest point on the back of the woofer. When I found it, I never touched it again. They walked in silence, and sat there until I motivated to move the entire job, tighten the tangle of wires and pull the whole mess into the trash.

They are not with the sound from these speakers, at least for a while. Purchased If I had known I would end it, I throw out for something lighter and havecompact, so that the whole system fits in one hand, but there for a while, we had to go a sweet, sweet thing.
